territorio land-territory

This territory I’m being hold by (still while being far) is the valley of Subachoque. It is part of the Bogotá savanna in the Altiplano cundiboyacense:

wikipedia: “The Altiplano Cundiboyacense [altiˈplano kundiβoʝaˈsense] is a high plateau located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian Andes covering parts of the departments of Cundinamarca and Boyacá. The altiplano corresponds to the ancient territory of the Muisca

In muysc cubun Subachoque means: working front and work of the sun

The creeks name is El Salitre, refering to the salt that can be found there, yet it probably had other Muisca name that has been forgotten.

Other shots and offerings me an my family made are located in páramo El Tablazo, In muysc cubun Juniatamix meaning powerful baton, refering to the one’s the warriors used. This paramo is the edge of the altiplano cundiboyacense in the west, and for that it is also called colombia’s balcony. The airport’s radars are located there. In clear days the Magdalena Valley and the snowed peaks of the central cordillera can be seen.

The lagoon that can be seen in some shots, is now called el Pantano de Arce, in muysc cubun Juniatame.

Another guardian site surrounding this valley is the Juaica peak, known for being a sacred portal and strategic view point of all the savannah.
